Equipment Name: Twin Switchswords
Tier: 3
Type: Weapon
Equipment Significance: Combat Weapon
Description: Switchsword are a duel type combat weapon with three separate modes. In their default state they take on the appearance of a standard weapon hilt about 6in in length, though when the mechanism on the hilt is triggered and a 6in duel edged blade extrudes from the hilt creating a dagger. Unlike a switchblade the switchsword has a third state when the mechanism is triggered again which extrudes the blade even further up to 3ft in length. The second combat type of weapon lies in the materials that make the blade; made of a metallic that becomes toxic when interacting with blood. When released into the system the toxin disorients the targets senses and releases a sensation of disorientation and nausea similiar to motion sickness. Essentially meaning that the more a target moves or perceives movement the worse the toxin's effects become.
Strengths:
    1. Weapon mode can be quickly extended/contracted even mid swing.
    2. Releases a toxin when interacting with blood.
Weaknesses:
    1. Extending/Contracting mechanism can be frozen or tampered with, locking the weapon in its current state.
    2. Toxin effects can be overcome through immunities.

Equipment Name: S.S. Grenade (Spike-Stalk Grenade)
Tier: 3
Type: Weapon
Equipment Significance: Thrown Explosive Weapon
Description: These are explosive devices composing of a wooden stalk and an explosive head ranging at 14in in length total, though unlike standard Stalk Grenade's these variants possess four 7in long expandable curved blades on the head. Once thrown, and trigger is set, like a normal grenade it will detonate after a brief period. These are designed to be able to be stuck into a object or even an individual to cause immediate penetrative damage and then explosive.
Strengths:
    1. Due to the stalk design these can be thrown further and much faster than normal grenades.
    2. Capable of causing immediate explosive and shrapnel damage upon detonation within a 5m area radius around them.
Weaknesses:
    1. Explosive is equally capable of harming user.
    2. As it is on a timer, before detonation, it can be tossed away.

Sorry, no. All equipment can be broken save for Legendary/T6 equipment. Lower-tier equipment can break higher tier, it's just unlikely and would require say,  a T5 person to strike a T2's sword. Also, higher tiers are more so for giving abilities as well. THis would be good if you just removed the first strength and weakness.

EDIT: I know it says WIP but I was just letting you know.

When you say "higher tiers are more so for giving abilities as well" what Tier would it be acceptable to add those in?

No tier. That's not how it works, you can't just say "Can break lower tier but can be broken by higher tier". I'd recommend, if you want more abilities, to come up with more unique ones.

I meant more along the lines of 'Real' abilities (not just a 'don't have to repair' one lol), like the blade can be set aflame or wounds created by it don't heal etc etc random example. Such as the effect I just put on it.

OH Sorry, misunderstood. I wouldn't say wounds wouldn't heal, but you could slow healing if it was coated with something but that'd be higher tier than T3. A flaming blade or say, a morphing blade is not out of the question. So yes, at higher tiers they could. T3 can have an ability, it just wouldn't compare to higher tiers.

How about the new ability on the weapon now?

It's good, but just know for balancing reasons it won't disorient people higher tier than you. Also, contact must be made right?

Yes, of course.

One more question, since the item I am trying to make is two separate weapons does that count towards both of my 2 starting equipment restriction?

If it's purposed for dual-wielding, it can be one item. Of course, logically they could act independently but it is all based on the original intention. I.e. a pair of daggers but not dual katana unless they functioned together like combining them.
