Fayte

Fayte

Laying in a Marine hospital under strict watch by the local marines. The newly title hero of Shimotsuki Village was recovering from her clash with the deceased revolutionary, Jade Striker. Fayte was sleeping with a frown, the lack of another person near her just made her sad in her sleep. The constant reminder of lonely nights plague the mind of the Supanova A nurse came into her room to check on her condition, she instantly had a worried expression on her face as she look at Fayte tossing and turning in the bed. "It seems as if you have some personal and/or mental issues as well. I can heal the physical problems, but only you can solve the non-physical ones." The nurse placed a hand on Fayte's forehead and notice she how hot she felt. "She burning up!"

The Supa Supa no Mi ability to make the user immune to slashing based damage was somewhat exaggerated and Fayte didn't count on a swordswoman nor swordsman to being to harm her by slashing at out. Oh how wrong she was. It seem like their are people who can harm her that way. She figure that if depends on power differences between her and her opponent. Fayte was mumbling in her sleep. She kept repeating something about getting stronger. It was cleared she was in state of discomfort and distressed.

The marine nurse would take a seat beside her Supernova patient and placed a wet towel on her head in an attempt to bring down the Fayte's temperature. It seem like the wet towel manage to stop Fayte from her constant movement in the bed. The nurse smile slightly as began to undo the bandages on Fayte's body and began to change them. After she cleans the Supernova of course. Fayte's sickness is a mystery to the doctors in the building. It seem more advanced than the common cold or flu, but not too dangerous. Did Jade's sword could have some thing to do with the illness Fayte caught. "Don't worry, Supernova. You waned criminal, but you held up your word, so us Shimotsuki Marines will make sure you get better. Plus you reputation around here is growing and popluar among the villagers, so arrest you won't be a good thing." The Nurse would try to comfort the Supernova in her sleep by talking to her. She wasn't sure if she was getting through or not. The expression on he Supernova face hasn't change.

Captain Crux would stop by and visit Fayte as she saw the nurse putting on the last of Fayte's bandages. Unlike Fayte, she didn't suffer to much damage from their fight with Jade. "Good job nurse. How is our patient doing?" The marine captain would walk beside the nurse who sighed. "She has some sort of sickness that we can't figure out. She seems to be having mental problems or eh nightmares. She talks quite a bit in her sleep. Wanting to get stronger or why was she so weak. It seem likes she has many issues plaguing her mind. Finally I'm guessing she lonely without her crew." Captain Crux nodded her head as she listen to the nurse. "Do your best. If she wakes up, tell her I said thanks." Both marines saluted each other before they went back to their duties.

"I trust you marines to hold up your end of deal. Looks my trust wasn't misplaced at all." Fayte painfully groaned as she open her eyes and sat herself up. She was glad that the marine captain didn't leave for dead or try to kill her when Fayte, was quite honestly in position when she couldn't defend herself. The marine nurse would quickly stop what she was doing and come to Fayte's side putting a hand gently on her wounds and pushing her back on the bed so she could lie down. "You shouldn't try to move around to much, your still weak from your fight with Jade Striker. And of course us marines keep our word. The real and honorable marines believe in moral justice not absolute justice like some of the more extreme marines believe in." The nurse smile to reassured Fayte as she check the Supernova's temperature. It was okay, still kind of high. "Alight, I make sure to get you some food and something to drink, your body needs to be refuel." Fayte nodded her head in agreement as she stare up at the ceiling and sighed, her training was to make her stronger and this is the result of all those year of training, would her lover be disappointed in her?
